This page explains the Admissions and Registration process.

                              The first step is to fill out a application, either Online or on Paper

                              Admitted students must sign up for Orientation. Lobo Orientation Dates are available here.
Orientation costs $130.00 which includes meals and accomidations except for sessions 10-11
Students must obtain a UNM net ID. (directions available here.)
Check your class placement based on admissions exams
Be prepared for long and informative days
Read all cancellation policies and deadlines

Locating and Registering for Required Courses

                              Students must register for classes through their MyUNM Account.

                              Using the catalog from the year the student enters UNM will help to know which classes to take.

Admissions Requirements

                              The following are requred for admissions: A compleeted application Online or on Paper)
Offical High School Transcripts
$20 application Fee (non-refundable)
Student must attend orientation upon admittance
                              Non-Traditional Students must submit: GED Scores
Student must attend orientation upon admittance
                              The following are requred for admissions: Minimum "C" Average (2.0 on 4.0 scale)
Transfer Lottery or other scholarships (if applicable)
Student must attend orientation upon admittance
