Project Idea Part I:
1. Create Paul Ehrich's "Magic Bullet"
a. I want to create a magic bullet (vector) that can be used as a treatment/therapy for disease
2. Start the "New" Freshmen Summer Bridge Program
a. Create a program for incoming freshmen that can help give them experience and information
3. A Current problem is that incoming college students do know enough about their university/program to survive well.

a. I will ask some students I know the following questions
Hey all I need some help!! Those of you in science programs, scholarship programs, and any STEM field degree can you answer a few questions? (I need a few different points of view for a project in my class)
1. Did you feel you knew enough about your college and major program?
2. If not what do you wish you had known or still wish to know about?
3. Did you know about any scholarship programs (MARC,... IMSD,PREP)?
4. Did you know about research opportunities? How did you find out?
5. Would you have like to know how to conduct research earlier in your undergrad education?
Project Idea Part III:
UNM-STEM Forum
1. Currently, Many UNM students/incoming do not know
a. How to be admitted
b. Financial aid/scholarships
c. Orientation
d. Programs
e. Groups
f. Campus
g. Tutoring
We need a way for incoming students in the STEM fields to learn how to "Survive" They need to know what is out there, what is available, what/when they can join, what will help them/why Plus!! Maybe these students can sign up with an upperclassmen mentor if any of our volunteers would like to be one!!
-Many of us have been through the ringer to answer most questions!!
