Problem:

• There is a lack of a sustainable energy source.

Issues:

• Our energy supply is unsustainable and nonrenewable.
• Nuclear power plants can be dangerous and damaging to the environment.
• The burning of fossil fuels damages the O-zone.
• Causes global warming
• Produces acid rain.

Ideas:

• Find another resource that will not be harmful to the environment.
• Solar energy is a great source of energy that is under utilized.
• Electric clouds have never been harvested for energy.

Goals:

• Create a material that is highly conductive, as well as has the capability to harvest solar energy.
• Build a net like structure that orbits in space that is controlled by manned stations.
• The station would absorb solar energy as well as harvest electrical clouds.
• Net structure would stop some solar energy.
• May have an impact on the temperature of the earth's surface.
• Transmit the energy through fiber optics to the earth's surface.
• Or store energy in supercapacitors and drop them to the earth's surface.
